The eleventh recipient of the annual DCAM Flight Instructor Safety Award for the year 2013 was:

CHRIS WALSH, of MONCTON FLIGHT COLLEGE

Chris made a significant contribution to the development and management of Moncton Flight College’s Approved Training Organization and the subsequent launch of the Multi-Crew Pilot License MPL.  Both of these are a first in Canada.

Chris Walsh: “As we move forward with the promoting of safety in our industry, this Award allows for the education of safety through acknowledgement. This Award, which memorializes David’s efforts on that fateful day are ever apparent. My nomination for this Award acknowledges a career of promoting a safety culture, an acknowledgement I truly appreciate.”
